 The Pigtronix Mothership Analog effects pedal that functions as a synthesizer with intelligent ring modulator, sub-octave, and VCO. It creates enormous analog sounds and is perfect for use with bass, vocals, horns, guitar, piano, or just about any other instrument. The Mothership is powered by an innovative note detection circuit. This circuit works at a very high speed and can accurately pitch to any voltage. It’s a true analog monosynth that has a wide variety of different tuning options. You’ll be surprised at what this compact little pedal can push out.
The VCO, or voltate controlled oscillator, is the main output section of the Mothership. It can be tuned anywhere from +2 octaves above the input to -2 octaves below. It features an adjustable portamento effect that can be added to create subtle slides or large multi-octave moves. The sub-octave is huge and creates a solid, warm foundation for your harmony. The pedal features a dedicated out just for the sub-octave. Finally, the intelligent ring modulator is brand new to the Mothership. By tuning it, the pedal can create just about any sound you can think of. It follows every note you play, retaining the harmonic intervals while working its magic. The Pigtronix Mothership Analog retails for between $480 and $650. |
