The Diamond Pedals FBR-1 Fireburst is a crazy-thick fuzz pedal with juicy, saturated tones galore. The Fireburst is also a punchy, rocking distortion pedal. Amazingly it accomplishes both tasks in a spectacularly toneful fashion with no compromises on either end of the spectrum. You just can't make this pedal sound bad. The Diamond Fireburst features two switches, one True Bypass on/off switch and one mid-boost switch. Without the mid-boost engaged the FBR-1 is a thick, saturated fuzz that puts out an incredible amount of low-end. The bass response on this thing will set off seismographs in neighboring states. Kick in the mid-boost switch and the Fireburst morphs into a punchy rock distortion. Each switch has it's own corresponding LED. Active Baxandall Treble and Bass controls offer further options for maniacal tone sculpting. The Fireburst features audiophile-grade components, True Bypass switching, and an Active Baxandall equalization.
